I think traveling is the best thing we can get to do in our lifes. The world is a really big place beautiful enough to spend our life time staying just in one place. Sadly traveling means spend a lot of money and for that reason I haven’t got to know lot of places around the world. I have been to Valdivia, south of Chile and that visit made me realize hoy good I feel in the south, with all the variety of trees and clean air I feel renovated every time I come back there.

That’s why when I look at pictures of la Patagonia chilena I get fascinated by and I think that I cannot spend too much time without going there again. There you can visit Las Torres del Paine, wich has the biggest esquí center in the world, wich would be great to know since I’ve never visit a place with snow.

There’s also a lot of trekking and climbing circuits so you can connect with the nature beyond just staring and see the beatiful landscape from an open perspective. It must e really wonderfull.

I’d like to go with my brother who lived in Valdivia and he is a south lover. Plus he plays the quena like a god and when I imagine that sound in the inmensity of the mountains it seems like a dream to me.

Honestly I don’t think I could get to travel very soon. Turism in Chile is really expensive so the most economic thing to do by now is going out to Perú or Bolivia, where is cheaper.

The journalism is an occupation wich talks about the daily news, but  the word journalist can also be used to talk about the different aspects of life from trivial things to existencials problems or political demands. What I like about the jorunalism is that is it varied practice.
Be understood using the language and transmit a clear idea, without rodeos. This is Eduardo Galeano's works as an Uruguayan journalist, writer and novelist. The most famous book is “Open Veins of Latin America”, published in 1971. Tells the sad history of Larin America, with a theorical bases very good but without being a history book. In fact, Galeano not defined as an historian. He simply is a writer very critical and conscious of the evil and benefits of the world. In specific, himself has proclaimed his obsession as a writer saying, "I'm a writer obsessed with remembering, with remembering the past of America above all and above all that of Latin America, intimate land condemned to amnesia."
Galeano invites us to think, because he writes about  transcendental  concepts where you don't think much, as violence, solidarity, love, freedom, etc.

I love reading novels. My favourite writer is Mario Benedetti. He is another of the great writers from Uruguay, as Galeano or Onetti. Benedetti was a journalist, novel and poet. Even wrote dramas of theater. I like him because his writing is not pretentious; is very simple and equally transmits emotions. The most famous novel is “The truce”, publisher in 1960, nine years later translated into English. When I read it, I cried so much.
“The truce” is a love history between retired man and a young secretary. The man is Martin Santomé, who is forty nine years old, the woman is Laura Avellaneda, who is not yet reached the thirty. He is a widower, and he is usually sad and he lives with little energy, until he falls for Laura. They maintain a serious, quiet and low profile relationship because Martin has three children. Also, he thinks that Laura is embarrassed about their love, but is no true. Martin always tells her “have so much life to live” but he doesn’t imagine the truth. She is very ill and one day, suddenly, she died and Martin is single and very sad again.
Benedetti wrote a farewell of Laura in a poem entitled “Latter notion of Laura”.

I had never gone to a costume party until Valeska’s  eighteen birthday, in august 2008. She is my friend from school since seventh grade (right in the picture).
Next to  me in the photography is Eliana, my friend from age six. Next to her is Rodrigo, or has we know him, Boob. He is a cousin of Valeska and furthermore, my best friend.
That night was very happy. We laughed, drank, cried, ate, and spoke many things pending.
The costumes were very good, except mine. Supposedly was disguised Stephanie from Lazy Town, but I only had a pink wig.
Eliana`s costume was the best. She dress as a pirate without spending money. Rodrigo however, rented the costume of clown. Valeska also rented the costume of an egipcian queen.
The family of Valeska is great. Everybody was disguiesed, even the grandmother dressed as a nun.
It was a good night.
