When I was twelve years old I read the Harry Potter saga, and the end I knew what the thirst for reading. I went through periods when I read a lot and finished every book I read, but nowadays, I keep being interested for readin by but acquired a bad habit: left unfinished books, because beginning to read many books both. For example, now I read three books, but one (Blindness) stayed on the road and i think I’ll finish. Is very interesting but saw the movie and know the end took my interest.

A book I am a bit of finish is “Homeless of Dharma” of Jack Kerouac. Is a book which has the beginnings of the author in the buddhist philosophy and a lifestyle traveler only by moving “autostop”. Is very entertaining, above all for people who are interested in the phylosophy eastern.

My favourite writer is Mario Benedetti and Eduardo Galeano, both uruguayan jorunalist.

The article deals with the state of drug policy in Chile and attempts to legalize marijuana to combat drug trafficking. The author points out this topic because in the last U.N. General Assembly the presidents of Mexico, Guatemala and Colombia expressed for combating drug trafficking but in the same assembly the chilean Minister Alfredo Moreno did not address the issue because vthe drug is not an urgent... or so say politicians, contrary to what people believe, as shown in internet voting drug reform is the most popular initiative in Congress. 

The reform which seeks to institutionalize the self-cultivation of marijuana therapeutic purposes the raised in July the senators Fulvio Rossi and Ricardo Lagos Weber. The drug expert, Eduardo Vergara, difine the situation of Chile as paradigmatic because monetary despite efforts spent annually on the "war on drugs" the drug traffickers are increasingly might.

The first term was very boring for me because I liked just a few subjects. Only one really, but two teachers alternated to gave the class: Hans Stange and María Eugenia Domínguez, and she is good person but bad teaching, while first professor is very good. In this class learned on the Cultural Industries and the Critical Theory of the Theodoro Adorno and Horkheimer’s Frankfurt School .

They taught me radio but I had a medical problem called nodules on the vocal cords and it’s means a problem for speaking correctly. Moreover, radio is a practice for journalism and during the first term I had serious doubt about my vocation in this profession, not because I was thinking in other career, but because I went through a time when I got deeply bored at the university.

Luckly i finished well the second half of the semester and I maked sense to me again returning to the academy. I tought that if I'm here now, would be better if I try.

 

This is my first blog. I always wanted to make one because is a very good media, but do not know why he had not. Maybe is the same reason why not I have improved design of my blog: I’m very lazy.

Paradoxically, one of the things I like about the blog is the different possibilities to design the site. Some are very cute. Other good thing is the audiovisual support which can complemented with text. 

I must admit that my level of English is much lower in comparison with my partners, that’s why took me so long redacting the posts. Obviously I do not like but this is not responsibility of the web site, is my disadvantage. Anyway each time it takes me less and I guess I have learned something.

The interactive class is a good way of learning, because is a funny sopport, and time in the computer “goes faster”, don't know why.  

I can hardly find disadvantages in the use of the blog in the English class. Would be a bad thing if class English would be based only in this sopport, but it is not, and is good complemented with Tuesday's classes.

I have always thought that friends are the family one chooses, and fortunately, I have very good friends both at home and outside, because my two sisters and only brother are my best friends.

Outside home I must also admit that I had many friends in my life, but many of this friendships are no longer because I lose contact, probably for changes of interest in life or unfulfillment of expectations, but nothing dramatic. 

I understand that true friends should be limited, but I can say convinced that I have many friends, and very good friends. 

School gave me a couple of very good friends. One of which is Eliana, my friends since we where six years. She is very genuine. We were partners during all schooling and although I do not see her much I know we will be friends until we are old, until no longer  we exist.

 

My other great friend is Tamuré. I met her during the last two years of school. She is a person I enjoy so much, because is very inteligent and absurd and at the same time, she is very funny. We understand and forgive the ingratitude of not calling or getting together often during the last three years, but the life awarded us because currently she is studying in the same university as me I and I see her every day. It is wonderful to return to day by day life.
